Mr. Abdul Qadir Memon is the founder and Chief Advisor of A. Qadir & Company, Taxation and Corporate Laws Consultants (The Legal 500 Asia Pacific Leading Firm) founded in 1980. He is a Fellow of Institute of Taxation and Management of Pakistan, Certified Director under the Code of Corporate Governance, 2012 by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and EXCEL Graduate of Junior Chamber International.

Currently he is serving as Patron of Pakistan Tax Bar Association, Director of Institute of Financial Markets of Pakistan, Member of Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee formed by Federal Board of Revenue and Member of Policy Advisory Board of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).

He has also served as Member of Tax/Revenue Advisory Council of Ministry of Finance, Government of Pakistan and Vice President of Asia-Oceania Tax Consultants’ Association. He has also served as President of Pakistan Tax Bar Association and President of Karachi Tax Bar Association for two terms for both the organizations. He has contributed immensely as Chairman of BankIslami Modarabas Investment Ltd, Chairman of National Clearing Company of Pakistan, Director of State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, Director of Pakistan Stock Exchange Ltd, Director of Institute of Corporate Governance and Member of Competition Commission of Pakistan Consultative Group.

He is also a Member of Management Association of Pakistan. He has also served as National President Pakistan Junior Chamber International (JCI) and Memon Professional Forum. Mr. Memon has presented many papers locally and globally on the topics of taxation, corporate laws, and individual development. He has widely travelled across the globe and participating in sports as well as Senior Vice President of Pakistan Billiard & Snooker Association. He is also contributing his heart and soul for the welfare activities in the country. He is a founder of Cleft and Contracture Foundation and Elza Mukhtar Foundation. Mr. Memon is also Member of Executive Committee of the Patients’ Behbud Society for AKUH and Health and Nutrition Development Society (HANDS). He is a Life Member of Junior Chamber International, English-Speaking Union of Pakistan, Arts Council of Pakistan, Pakistan Billiard & Snooker Association and Memon Professional Forum.
